Song Lyrics
Go Go Get Out
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
If you don’t like em tell em,
Go, go, get out cuz we don’t want cha, go find somethin else to do
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, we got somebody betta than you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, cuz trust means nothing to you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, and we don’t really need you too!
Verse 1:
Man I promise that I was trying to to be nice
They kept asking and finally figured the right price
By mashing my buttons until they found out the PIN code
The magic sequence to making my temper explode
And I ain’t really the one to be losing control
But they just stayed persistent and accomplished they goal
So now it’s bout time that the gloves come off
They remind me of ice cream cuz they serve is soft
So nah I’ma tell you one thing that I can’t stand
It’s when cats try to come at me but got no plan
I mean maybe it’d be easier if you was a fan,
Cuz you know I never stop trying hard as I can
And I hope this gets all the way to foreign lands
With people speaking languages that I can’t understand
And if it makes a couple hundred million stacks and bands
Ima hit up a few stocks and investment plans.
So Let’s go.
Hook 2:
Go, go, get out cuz we don’t want cha, go find somethin else to do
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, we got somebody betta than you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, cuz trust means nothing to you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, and we don’t really need you too!
Verse 2:
See my problem with them is they just don’t listen,
It’s like they bought a cheap stone now the joint don’t glisten
I mean all you do is sit there and complain and whine,
Like you on a mission to make all your problems mine.
I’m like we was over here and we was doing fine
But yall just had to go and try it out one more time
And now your whole crew’s stuck and at the end of the line
I’ll bet you wish all the advice that you had taken was mine
I guess thats how it goes man when you live and learn
And sometimes to hit the growth you gotta feel the burn
And man I really hope the next time you learn your lesson
Cuz your decisions got everybody out here stressin
But something tells me you really just still don’t get it
It’s like ya head’s too big for that new era fitted
It’s almost like you struck out cuz the baseball’s mitted
And You was trying to win the case but the jury acquitted, let’s go.
Hook 3:
Go, go, get out cuz we don’t want cha, go find somethin else to do
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, we got somebody betta than you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, cuz trust means nothing to you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, and we don’t really need you too!
Verse 3:
I wonder if we going the right direction,
Cuz we all look in the mirror and see a reflection
But somehow the focus is on complexion
And how we use that to address perception
And whether you a Asian or Mexican
Or even if you Saiyan or Nemekian
We got the same problems when we strugglin
And if we all stay divided then we not gone win
And if you thinking that I just need to say it again
It’s in this song that I wrote with my iPhone pen
We mighta started out as enemies, but we can be friends
Maybe not immediate family but next of kin
We did the old way so it’s time for something new
We gave hate too much power, it’s time for that to be through
And if you can’t see that as the plan to do
Then you might as well go ahead and get out too.
Hook 4:
An tell em
Go, go, get out cuz we don’t want cha, go find somethin else to do
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, we got somebody betta than you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, cuz trust means nothing to you
Just tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha, and we don’t really need you too!
If you don’t like em tell em, go, go, get out cuz we don’t want cha
Just Tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha,
Just Tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha,
Just Tell em go, go, get out, cuz we don’t want cha
Dance With You
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
I, just want to dance with you,
Let, me buy a drink for you,
And, I’ll take ya number too,
And Maybe later, I’ll call you cuz,
I like the vibe you do,
And 1 and 1 is 2 so,
I’m thinking me and you,
Could dance all night, how bout you, yeah?
Verse 1:
Yeah It’s Friday night, with me and the crew and you know
We just trying ta find somethin to do
And I heard, it’s a new spot across the way
So we should, go and see what they was trying to say
And we been, looking forward to this all day
Cause you know, we work hard now it’s time to play
So let’s hop in the car, and head downtown to stay,
Till like 4 in the morning, but basically
It’s bout midnight, we got the new fits on, you know we smell right,
And it’s about that time to get ya game tight
So you don’t freeze up like a deer in headlights
When you see that one girl that you like
So now we standing in line,
Gotta get past the bouncer to have a good time.
He let like, 50 new girls walk in,
I saw one that I like with a couple of friends. Let’s go.
Hook 2:
II, just want to dance with you,
Let, me buy a drink for you,
And, I’ll take ya number too,
And Maybe later, I’ll call you cuz,
I like the vibe you do,
And 1 and 1 is 2 so,
I’m thinking me and you,
Could dance all night, how bout you, yeah?
Verse 2:
Now you know it don’t stop till somethin to 3 and we paid,
But the Greeks just got in free
The DJ, already scratching deck to deck,
And the club, aint even got warmed up yet.
Now I hope, ain’t nobody here going to jail,
Cuz it’s packed, like a old Black Friday sale
And it’s stacked, I’m seeing girls from the bar to the floor,
And my boy, looking like he can’t take it no more.
While I’m looking through the crowd trying to find that girl,
I locked eyes with her and she just rocked my world.
She had a smile on her face and a drink in her palm,
Wit a tiny lil purse strapped under her arm
I said hey, I just wanna dance with you,
She said I waited all night for you to ask me to
I got my girls over here let’s go meet ya crew
And we danced all night till the clock passed 2. Let’s go.
Hook 3:
I, just want to dance with you,
Let, me buy a drink for you,
And, I’ll take ya number too,
And Maybe later, I’ll call you cuz,
I like the vibe you do,
And 1 and 1 is 2 so,
I’m thinking me and you,
Could dance all night, how bout you, yeah?
Verse 3:
It’s just hands in the air, bodies side to side,
We got the whole club rocking to the DJ’s vibe
And the bartender’s busy with the drinks on tap,
See ya man in the corner hit him up with a dap
Got the music so loud gotta yell in they ear
But we having fun so the time disappears
And we been doing this for a couple of years
Since we was 18 and the flow switched gears.
Now it’s 2:45 and they just had the last call,
I think I found the baddest one out of em all.
But we out time now cuz the club’s bout to close
If we don’t think fast it’s gone be back to the bros
Hey, why don’t we find a breakfast spot?
We could all sit down, eat, and talk a lot?
Restaurant till 4, then we out the do’,
And gotta go get some sleep so we can party some mo’.
Tomorrow night.
Hook 4:
I, just want to dance with you,
Let, me buy a drink for you,
And, I’ll take ya number too,
And Maybe later, I’ll call you cuz,
I like the vibe you do,
And 1 and 1 is 2 so,
I’m thinking me and you,
Could dance all night, how bout you, yeah?
The Era I Come From
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
This that boom bap
That mic drop beat box the whole tune rap
That old school lunchtime beat on the table tap
And everybody wanna put they city up on the map.
Let’s go
This that mixtape and studio flow
When it’s hot in the cypher and you know you bout to go
That classic energy that you already know
This the era I come from son so let’s go
Verse 1:
It was backwards hats, and name brand baggy clothes
We was boxing the beat with hands on our nose
We had a whole crew with like 10 different flows
Standing for pictures with the arms crossed pose
One person came out we still called it a show
We didn’t have all the cash to book the studio
Was planting the seed just had to water it to grow
And it’s crazy to me, the stuff that we didn’t know
We started on records but then tapes and CDs
Then messin Napster we did the mp3s
Got the music culture from BET
Cuz it was all around us like 3 and D
But now it just feels like a distant memory
The way we all worked to build that community
I miss the complex rhyme structures and word play
Sometimes I wish I could just go back for one day
Hook 2:
This that boom bap
That mic drop beat box the whole tune rap
That old school lunchtime beat on the table tap
And everybody wanna put they city up on the map.
Let’s go
This that mixtape and studio flow
When it’s hot in the cypher and you know you bout to go
That classic energy that you already know
This the era I come from son so let’s go
Verse 2:
Yo cut the beat right here like exacto
And swoop down and get em, pterodactyl
I’m re-writin this line to pass the algo
But maybe Im just an avalanche like packed snow
It’s like my brain is stuck on truth and facts mode
Some cats make stacks then hack the tax code
I’m giving them a new phobia like arachno
Man I thought we could trust him he was a rat though
And they was fishing for tuna but caught a mackerel
Yeah I was gone for a little but now I’m back though
I stay on top of my game just call me hasbro
But I ain’t tootin my own horn like satchmo
Yeah y’all was doing some tellin but now it’s time to show
And yeah they thought I was finished, but then here come some mo’
Yall overstayed your welcome and now it’s time to go
Don’t even grab your coat I’ll show you to the do’
Hook 3:
This that boom bap
That mic drop beat box the whole tune rap
That old school lunchtime beat on the table tap
And everybody wanna put they city up on the map.
Let’s go
This that mixtape and studio flow
When it’s hot in the cypher and you know you bout to go
That classic energy that you already know
This the era I come from son so let’s go
Oh Yeah?
Ok.
Verse 3:
Okay Beat switch in the third verse you know we had to go
And we ain’t changing the tempo we just altered the flow
Like Jenga I’m moving blocks to win
It’s crazy like bad boy had The Lox again
It’s hard to breathe so let’s turn up the oxygen
And mama’s cooking up them tails of the ox again
I always save a Amazon prime box so when
I need to send your rhymes back I get free shipping.
You got ya beats too loud that’s why ya mix clipping
I like water wit the lemon when I’m just sipping
And if you think I’m giving up then you must be tripping
I drop banana peels on camera just to catch you slippin
I’m like Jordan on the mic and I stay drippin
So when you walk down the stairs your hand rails grippin
I got the Michelin Stars when I’m in the kitchen,
My hope is this could be the scratch to the cause itching. Let’s go
Hook 4:
This that boom bap
That mic drop beat box the whole tune rap
That old school lunchtime beat on the table tap
And everybody wanna put they city up on the map.
Let’s go
This that mixtape and studio flow
When it’s hot in the cypher and you know you bout to go

Windows Down In The Ride
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
It’s a vibe
Just roll the windows down in the ride
I got a couple friends wantin ta slide
And we gone hit the mall then outside
Catching eyes, Looking fly
I got the windows down in the ride
We got the music turned up on high
And it’s a car full of girls to the side
Wavin’ hi, its a vibe
Verse 1
At the end of the school year, when all the classes was out.
I hit up the crew on the phone so I could give em a shout,
It took a few of us to make a couple 3 way calls
To get the whole crew on the phone and plan a trip to the mall.
After picking everybody up from all over town,
It’s time to turn the music up and roll the windows down
I had the drivers seat laid down clear to the back
The left hand steering wheel, with right hand skipping tracks
Detachable faceplate pioneer in the deck, I had them twin 10s in the trunk I thought I was set.
We kept the CDs in a book so we could have the right track,
And the music kept our heads noddin front to the back.
So Let’s go.
Hook 2:
Verse 2:
So now we pulling up to the mall,
So we can find some girls with some phone numbers to call
But first we had to find a spot to post up real smooth
So we could hype each other up with confidence in the groove
I saw a couple girls over in the make up store,
Cross the way
We headed over there and tried to discuss what we would say
Nah inside they had already split
So we just dapped each other up because we knew dis was it
Nah she was picking out some colors in the lipstick aisle
I said nah thats not the one and then she turned and she smiled
I was nervous but I knew I couldn’t let that show
Because them 7 digits is what I just came here for
I got the number then I made a little promise to call,
Then we took a victory lap all around the mall
After the mandatory wait time of like 2 days
I got the phone and dialed the number so we’ll see how this plays
Hook 3:
Dont Mind Me
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
Nah you ain’t gotta rock wit me, I’ll be in the back in the VIP
Never had time for hypocrisy, and y’all been living life obviously
Pardon my interruption, I just had to see, just one more reason why I listen to me
I hope it turned out how you wanted to be, but please, just don’t mind me, just don’t mind me.
Verse 1:
Time and time and time again, I had to learn that acquaintances just ain’t friends,
Cuz they gone smile in ya face when you pushing the Benz,
But deep down they don’t really be supportin ya wins.
I just wanted to holla man, I was just checking in
I mean it’s been a little while I was reckonin’
I never woulda thought that I was botherin’
I figured shared experience was sovereign.
First it was the one next it was the two,
They like “hi I hope all is well with you.”
Nah you and I both know that ain’t true
And if you say it to me now the conversation’s through
And that’s the last thing I’ll ever say to you.
And while you doin you ima do me too
This is the process that I’m vibing through
I’m being my best self now minus you, but don’t mind me.
Hook 2:
Nah you ain’t gotta rock wit me, I’ll be in the back in the VIP
Never had time for hypocrisy, and y’all been living life obviously
Pardon my interruption, I just had to see, just one more reason why I listen to me
I hope it turned out how you wanted to be, but please, just don’t mind me, just don’t mind me.
Verse 2:
Man I thought that we was cool fa sho,
So how you showing up in people that I might know?
The whole crew was there on the game after school,
Basketball at the park, and summertime in the pool,
But now it’s like we never met in the past
I guess all friendships ain’t meant to last
But I still wish all of the best for you,
And your wife and the kids, man I hope that they all good too.
Nah you don’t have to loose so that I can win
And even if we set to never speak again
I just wanted to let you know, that since it bothered me,
I wrote a new song for my discography.
I’m elevated now that so I can see
I really had to adjust my topography
And add a lil change of geography
Moving forward Ima ask that you don’t mind me, cuz I’m good
Hook 3:
Nah you ain’t gotta rock wit me, I’ll be in the back in the VIP
Never had time for hypocrisy, and y’all been living life obviously
Pardon my interruption, I just had to see, just one more reason why I listen to me
I hope it turned out how you wanted to be, but please, just don’t mind me, just don’t mind me.
Verse 3:
Now I Gotta give a shout out to family,
That always act real clique ish and candidly
I really don’t wanna try to understand the key
To why you think your branch makes you so much better than me
Cuz We all came from the same family tree,
So ya bloodline to mine is facsimile
And I really don’t know how this came to be,
Cuz everytime someone die we become the Red Sea.
I can remember times so vividly
When we all would just laugh together happily.
Now it’s y’all over there and over here is we.
Y’all be doing ya own thing under lock and key.
And please don’t expect no more invites from me
You love yourselves so much that imma let y’all be
And I hate that it’s such a sad sight to see
So when you have your next thing I guess you won’t mind me, but I’m good.
Hook 4:
Nah you ain’t gotta rock wit me, I’ll be in the back in the VIP
Never had time for hypocrisy, and y’all been living life obviously
Pardon my interruption, I just had to see, just one more reason why I listen to me
I hope it turned out how you wanted to be, but please, just don’t mind me, just don’t mind me.
I Had To Wait For It
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
Aye, And they say
Good things come to those who wait
But sometimes you gotta hesitate
This could be that last first date
Everyone wanna find their mate
Or maybe this could be your match
True love with no strings attached
The right key for the perfect latch
Now your broken heart is patched
Never be in such a rush
To go and chase a crush
Promise in God we trust
Cuz faith in Him’s a must
Sometimes that thing you need
Fa some reason you can’t see
Hope it plays out perfectly
So you go and find your free
Verse 1:
Now she was single and looking for love in bad places
But, what she thought was acceptance was advantage taken,
Confidence weak and shaken
Not quite but almost breakin
Convinced that self worth was wrapped up in money she was makin
She wants a real man,
A bachelor with a plan,
A partner that she can build with to grow and understand.
She thinks he’s out there somewhere,
But he’s too just hard to find,
So every night she goes to sleep perfection in her mind.
Hook 2:
And they say
Good things come to those who wait
But sometimes you gotta hesitate
This could be that last first date
Everyone wanna find their mate
Or maybe this could be your match
True love with no strings attached

Verse 2:
Now he was a good dude,
Always there when you need a hand
But he had this friendship,
With a girl that he wished it was more than
While he thought that she was perfect,
To her she couldn’t see,
She locked him deep in the friend zone
And then misplaced the key
But he waited patiently,
Made sure he hung around
One day she realized the man she was looking for was found
And he was everything that she thought she would eva need,
Just needed to proceed
And now both hearts are free.
Hook 3:
And they say
Good things come to those who wait
But sometimes you gotta hesitate
This could be that last first date
Everyone wanna find their mate

Put Your Hands In The Air
Written by Christopher Williams
Verse 1:
My homie hit me up talking bout a party
I guess about 9s when it’s getting started
I only had 30 minutes left on the shift
So I asked if he could roll up and give me a lift
I mean this was way back before Uber and Lyft
Round the time we found out Tokyo could drift
So we dropped by the crib to get fresh to def
And made sure a Listerine strip was on the breath
Now we out the door, looking fly fa sho
And we add a lil splash of cologne ya know
We gotta smell good pulling up to the scene
Cuz the girls always notice if you know what I mean
And even if we still had to intervene
The fake chain on my neck was shining bright and clean
But Then we opened up the door and guess what we seen
It was wall to wall girls man this must be a dream.
Verse 2:
So we walk through the house and everywhere we go
Theres like a hundred different girls that we don’t know
And everyone was just there kinda standin around
There was no music playin and the mood was down
So I said, look bro we gotta fix this fast
Or they all gone leave and this ain’t gone last
But you know we keep a lil music in the ride
We got a couple CDs brought em back inside
When the music starts spinning
The walls start thinning
A few girls over over in the corner started grinning
It’s like we played the power ball and then started winning
Felt like the party had a brand new beginning
Now the vibe was up everyone was hype
Because me and my homie just saved the night
After all that we just might be alright
So we can have a great start to this Friday night.
Verse 3:
So the party’s hoppin everybody’s having fun
I danced wit a few girls, well more than one
And I got a few glances every now and then
So in my book Ima still count that as a win
Really, no one was ready for the party to stop
Probably why we didn’t notice after midnight dropped
Couple neighbors figured they was gone call the cops
To get the party shut down so the noise would stop
Saw the red and blue lights start flashing then
Everybody hit the door and started scramblin
We hopped back in the car and started ramblin
Bout how much fun we was having till the cops came in
Hopefully next weekend we can do it again
Got a few phone numbers from a few new friends
Will I actually call any, well I guess that I might
But now I’m thinking bout the next Saturday night
I Fell In Love In The Summer
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
I fell in love in the summer,
Cuz you was on my mind
I can’t stop thinkin’ bout cha,
Wanna be with you all the time
And I know that you love me baby,
And I can’t believe that I’m with you,
That’s how we do,
And it’s just you and me,
And me an you
Hey yeah
Verse 1:
I had a class over summer, it was just a normal day,
But you was late and the only seat left was next to me
I didn’t notice at first cuz you was playin it cool
But then I realized I ain’t never seen you at my school.
Quietly introduced myself and asked you for your name,
The rest of the class was boring cuz it was all the same.
We had a little break after and I was outside,
But then you walked by my life changed right before my eyes
My mind got flooded with thoughts that I couldn’t dismiss
I remember thinking I ain’t even know they came like this.
Instantly started planning dates in my mind,
Plottin how to ask you out and maybe just spend some time togetha
But while I was gettin my thoughts in order,
You were a drop of blood and was lots of sharks in the water,
I had to bide my time and wait patiently for my chance
And hope that my first impression was enough to spark romance,
We’ll see.
Hook 2:
I fell in love in the summer,
Cuz you was on my mind
I can’t stop thinkin’ bout cha,
Wanna be with you all the time
And I know that you love me baby,
And I can’t believe that I’m with you,
That’s how we do,
And it’s just you and me,
And me an you
Hey yeah
Verse 2:
So fast forward a couple weeks,
I check my emails and after a few deletes
I’m thinking oh well maybe it wasn’t meant to be
And maybe ever after doesn’t work out so happily
Imagine my surprise with the next one addressed to me
Asking if I remember her, oh most definitely
We started having conversations,
The emails changed to phone calls and revelations
The dates changed from just hanging out to reservations
The months changed into years without complications
Then I knew, I found the one with no hesitations
I bought a circle wit a stone
And I found a beach night wit the full moon shown
I gently
Took her hand,
Put my knee
In the sand and
Asked her if foreva I could only be her man
She cried and said yes,
History is the rest
I fell in love in the summer and now my life’s the best.
Lets go.
Hook 3:
I fell in love in the summer,
Cuz you was on my mind
I can’t stop thinkin’ bout cha,
Wanna be with you all the time
And I know that you love me baby,
And I can’t believe that I’m with you,
That’s how we do,
And it’s just you and me,
And me an you

In My Mind
Written by Christopher Williams
Hook 1:
Livin life in my mind
One thought at a time
Scared that I missed the prime
Maybe I’m just doin fine
Comparing all yours to mine
Pressure makes diamonds shine
Trying to focus on Divine
Guess I gotta keep trying
Verse 1:
Life is always movin
It’s like a train on the tracks
Always going forward
You ain’t got time to be looking back
Only focused on stacks
And what we can find in the racks
Did we miss the whole point
Dismissing the truth and the facts
Loved going on a trip
Suitcases I hated to pack
Tried to hide all my feelings
I guess that I thought I could act
And maybe we had a deal
But I guess I just broke the pact
I’m really sorry about that
Tried to carry it all on my back
Hook 2:
Livin life in my mind
One thought at a time
Scared that I missed the prime
Maybe I’m just doin fine
Comparing all yours to mine
Pressure makes diamonds shine
Trying to focus on Divine
Guess I gotta keep trying
Verse 2:
I didn’t accomplish
Everything that I wanted to
Yesterday
I promise I
Try to think about
Jesus Christ everytime that I pray
But what do I say to Him
When I realize I just messed up the day
I know Grace is fresh
In the morning
But I might need some more today
And I promise I’m trying God
But temptation be having its way
With the some of the words that I say
And with all of the games that I play
But I guess when we fall
We just gotta get up and get back on our way
I’m spending some time in my mind
And this what I’m thinking today
Hook 3:
Livin life in my mind
One thought at a time
Scared that I missed the prime
Maybe I’m just doin fine
Comparing all yours to mine
Pressure makes diamonds shine
Trying to focus on Divine
Guess I gotta keep trying
